Coinciding with President @emmanuelmacron ’s first State visit to India, the Knowledge Summit brings together leaders form the academic, scientific and economic world in order to shape the Indo French roadmap for the next decade. Graced by the presence of H.E. Mrs @VidalFrederique, Minister of Higher Education, Research and Innovation and Shri Prakash Javadekar, Hon’ble Minister of Human
Resource Development, this two-day meeting offers a common moment for a common goal: increase student mobility, enlarge Research & Development collaborations and link campuses to companies by focusing on employability. Different MoU have been signed and many discussions and networking sessions have been organized to ease possible collaborations between India and France.
Regarding the Aeronautics & Space, the round-table relied on the previous work achieved in January in #FutureTour Bangalore (#CampusFrance, #InstitutFrançais) where Dr. Christophe Bénaroya has been appointed as coordinator and moderator of the session. During the round-table diverse ideas and projects have been presented but basically three main topics seem to be of immediate interest and pretty achievable: one regarding materials, one about nanosatellite, one about the creation of an Indo-French Space Association enabling diverse IST, IISc, Universities, Schools to collaborate (one workshop a year, easing collaboration in research…). TBS has naturally shared his successful experience with IIMB regarding the AerospaceMBA program!
