On May 16th, 2018, the new Dean of Indian Institute Management Bangalore, Dr. G. Raghuram, arrived for the very first time in Toulouse and enjoyed a city tour with the GMAE program director Dr. S. Raghunath. In the evening, Dr. Christophe Bénaroya, Director of the TBS Aerospace MBA programs bring the IIMBangalore delegation to the Rajpoot Indian Restaurant in Blagnac for a friendly business lunch with Srinivas Duvvuri (Director Strategy & International Cooperation South Asia Airbus), Aymeric Dupront (Head of Airline Marketing South East Asia) and Dr. Dwarakanath S. (CEO Airbus India).
On May 17th, 2018 thanks to the support of ATR Aircraft team (Guillaume Huertas, Sylvie Lefebvre…) and Airbus team a VIP visit has been set up for the IIM Bangalore Delegation. Beyond very rich and knowledgeable presentations from senior executives, the Delegation enjoyed on-field and well-documented visits of ATR Final Assembly Line and A380 Final Assembly Line.
On May 18th, 2018 François Bonvalet, Managing Director and Dean of TBS and Dr. Christophe Bénaroya met Prof. G. Raghuram and Prof. S. Raghunath to discuss about further collaboration not only in the frame of the Aerospace MBA program (effectively launched jointly in 2015 in Bangalore) but also at a corporate level (teaching, research, projects…).
Prof. Denis Lacoste, Head of Research at TBS then welcomed the Delegation and presented faculty output and involvement in research activities, highlighting the quality and diversity of aerospace-related published papers.
Mrs. Florence Ramillon, Director of International Relations & Development and Dr. Catherine Muller then joined in a business lunch to further discuss respectively about international collaboration and research on transportation matters. Marie Baudoin, Aerospace MBA program coordinator and Dr. Bénaroya seized this opportunity to share more about the strong collaboration between TBS team (not. Julie Gueffier) with IIMB Executive Education team (more speficially Madan Mohan Raj Director of Executive Education Programs and Richa Singhal Agrawal Marketing manager, and Sathish Kumar).
Last, a special visit has then been organized at Toulouse-Blagnac Airport thanks to the kind support of Ms. Catherine Gay, Traffic Development Director and her team (Carine Melin, Thomas Gérard, Head of network development traffic). Fruitful discussions and exchanges led to the conclusion that many future avenues for collaboration are existing between ATB, TBS & IIMB.
